Hello, Everyone! We are excited to see you tomorrow to help get us prepped to open on Monday. We hope you've taken full advantage of the break to relax, refocus as needed, and enjoy life!

Training on New CBCT

The new software for the CBCT is similar to the current software. These videos were sent to us by the Dentsply Rep. Please watch each one to help you know how to use the machine, the best way to position patients for taking images, and troubleshooting. Each video is about 1-2 minutes.

I just watched all of them, and I learned quite a few things regarding different types of images! I'm excited to see this machine in action!

Here is a tutorial guide that also came from Dentsply. This will be saved on the shared drive to access as needed.

May Schedule

We have multiple providers out this month including the last week of May. Only DCH and DKM will be in the office for Wednesday-Friday that week. Please keep an eye out for where you're needed. If you need time, but your provider is out, please speak with myself or Shoua regarding projects to complete on those days.

Credit Card Use

Another item to remind everyone is the use of the HCD credit card. For all dental supply needs, only Te and Ikaika have the authority to use the cc without asking direct permission from either the doctors or myself. For all office supply needs, Lauren has the authority at the front desk.

Moving forward, when it comes to payment for in-service meals for either departments, birthdays, or anniversaries, Zelan and/or Lauren will be responsible for ordering meals and using the cc for payment. There is no designated person for picking up food as this will be a shared responsibility for our team as a whole.

Whenever the cc is used for any purchase, we MUST have a receipt. Please scan the receipt and upload it to my file on the shared drive. If it's emailed to you, please forward the email to me. This will reduce paper and save time for bookkeeping needs on my side.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and thank you all for being responsible with this vital asset.

Trays in Ops

A gentle reminder regarding the new trays in the ops. Please make sure you have clearance before moving the 2 trays below the 12 o'clock cabinet. Some ops have lasers, cavitrons, and/or other items that may fall off if we're not paying close attention.

In honor of "April showers bring May flowers," please send a picture/emoji/gif of your favorite flower to your team to show you've read the headlines today. Thanks!
