Hello, Team!

So glad to be back with everyone this week as move into July. I hope you all enjoyed whatever break time you took and I hope you wore your sunscreen responsibly. :D

This week is our Team Meeting. We have LOTS to review and need to have everyone there with us. Please remember to count your steps and total your other goal requirements for the Healthy Habits Challenge. Please bring your thinking caps, your happy hats, and your imaginary friends.

Reason to Return

I thought this was a great idea from Dentrix Guru, Novonee. Full blog HERE. From their post:

I call them Reason for Return (or RFR for short) and you can build them into your templates.

Fractured tooth in jeopardy of breaking
Bleeding which is a sign of infection
Unusual spots on the tongue or cheek
Decay that could lead to pain

Clinic & Admin Tasks

As we quickly discussed this morning, there are ALWAYS tasks that must be done throughout the clinic and the admin areas. I've listed the tasks that I'm aware of for the month of January. Edmel has posted these by the desk in the lab. Please note there are 3 tasks that must be completed in each operatory. There are also tasks to be done by the front desk. Please cross these off as they are completed. The report will be collected at the end of the month to see where we stand regarding these tasks. Thank you!

Protect the Assets of the Business

As part of our agreements, we agree to protect the assets of the business. This includes our time. When you arrive at the office, please remember to clock in when you arrive. And remember to clock out when you leave. If you forget, please put a note in your timesheet for the day in Dentrix. This will help me handle payroll more efficiently and more importantly... ensures you receive the correct pay for your work. It's easy to forget when you were here, and I don't want you to be shortchanged. Thank you, everyone, for making your clock-ins and outs a priority as you are definitely an asset to HCD. <3
