October is right around the corner with lots of good things in store. Still plenty left to do this week, too. Let's review a few...

Team Workshop on 10/4/2022
One of the best ways to become a stronger team is through service to others and spending quality time with one another. That will be part of our focus for the workshop this next week. With that said, here are some of the things we'll be doing. Carpooling would be great or driving on your own works, too!

We are meeting at SteamDot Coffee Café at 8:15AM on Tuesday, 10/4. Your morning beverage will be "on the house" so make sure you're on time to order and enjoy!
From there, we will go to Russian Jack Elementary School and be there by 9:10AM. We will participate in the national Great Book Week by hosting tea parties with the children from ages K-5. We will be divided into teams of 2-3 and read our favorite children's books to the kids. If you don't have a book(s), they will have some there for you to choose from. If you don't want to read or are concerned about public speaking, you won't be forced to, but you will be invited to sit and listen. It's amazing to see how much the kids love to see new adults in their school and just love to sit by you and bask in your light. :)
We will also provide goodie bags as October is Dental Hygiene Month and let's face it... we can't go anywhere without mentioning dentistry, right?
After Russian Jack ES, we will stay on the East Side and head to Russian Jack Chalet. This will be our final place for the day and where we'll enjoy our lunch and each other's brilliance.
Dress Code: warm casual awesome. Dress comfortably and count on moving around a lot. Also dress prepared to be outside for some of the time.
For those that are interested, you are welcome to bring your bikes to ride afterwards. There are great trails surrounding the chalet and now's a great time to see all the changing leaves! Just watch our for moose as they also love to hang out in that area.
Lastly, please note that this is a mandatory workshop and all team members are required to be there. If you have any concerns, please reach out to me via text.
CPR Class
Please bring your certificate showing you completed the online course to the training. If you are not vaccinated, we have COVID tests you can take prior to stepping into the training. Here are the times you've signed up for:

Yes, HCD, you read that right... 7:10AM. We will do photos in the main lobby so we wanted to take photos before the rush of other employees into the building.
Colors: Black, gray with splashes of blue/purple - see logo.
Clothing: Business casual. Knee-length skirts or dresses are allowed.
Teeth: Brushed and flossed.
Shout out to everyone on the team working hard in every position! Everyone is putting forth their best effort to ensure HCD and EVG grow and thrive. We truly appreciate having you on the team and look forward to what we can accomplish together!
