Hope you all enjoyed the break last week whether you were at the office, down in Texas, or out enjoying our "spring break" here in town. Today is the first day of Spring - HURRAY! We have lots going on this week so let's review!

USD Tips

ree

We found a few USD tips have been put through the ringer. Can you tell which one won't work for us anymore? Once the tip is bent or broken, it cannot effectively remove stain or calculus and must be replaced - which can be costly. Please remember to treat the tips with care and go slow when bagging the instruments.

CE COURSE 3/21/2023 FOR INVISALIGN

Received from Ben Ward, our Invisalign Rep. Looks like a great course to learn more about "Invisalign Treatment Consultation Workflow, Profitability, and Case Acceptance." More info on how to register included on the flyer below.

GAGGING PATIENTS

Lots of us have had patients gag during treatment and some of us have experienced the thrill of having them throw up on you. Good times. This is a great article on tricks and tips to help patients that are gagging. Granted this is mainly for patients that are taking impressions, but it's still good for patients using the Isolite or having issues with instruments being too far back in their mouths. Check it out and let me know what you think. READ ME.

REFERRING PATIENTS TO EVG OR TO HCD

This is from our team meeting back in January. Just realized I didn't send you the forms for referring patients between our two offices. Please let me know if you have any questions about this process or if you'd like to review it again at our next meeting. These forms are also available on the shared drive under both practice's Policy Manual.

GIVE KIDS A SMILE (GKAS) EVENTS FOR HCD

ree

We have a few events this week for GKAS at Russian Jack Elementary School. We would love to have you participate with us on any level. This can include presenting during the assembly, getting kids from their class to the screenings, serving as a provider for the screenings, or help with setup/take down. Please let me know ASAP if you'd like to participate.

Assembly: 3/22/2023 @ 2PM

Screenings: 3/24/2023 @ 1PM

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

An FYI for our team members that participate in or would like to participate in Premera medical insurance plan. Our open enrollment will be next month. This is also open enrollment for Colonial Life if you have any changes or additions you'd like to make. We will go over this in more detail at our Team Meeting on April 6th.
