Hello, Friends!

ree

You know you sang that... Here's the schedule for May.

EMPLOYEE BENEFIT PACKAGE

In reviewing our employee benefit package, I found many of you are not participating in some of the benefits that are at no charge to you. This includes the $300 a year for Colonial Life and the Principal Life insurance worth $13,000. Remember, these are at no charge to you. They only require that you sign a few forms. If you'd like to participate, please let me know and I'll help you get enrolled.

No matter your age, life insurance is a good policy to have. As some of you may remember, we had a co-worker tragically pass away a few years ago. She was only 20 years old. Unfortunately, her life insurance paperwork was in her inbox and not filled out. We were unable to provide this financial benefit to her family during their time of crisis.

We never know what's going to happen, and so it's best to be as prepared as we can. Especially when it's at no charge to you! Come see me to sign up for Principal Life. Follow the link in the image below to sign up for Colonial Life ASAP as open enrollment ends on 4/30/2023.

HIRING SCHEDULING COORDINATOR

We need your help finding a new team member for our front desk since Kayla is leaving in June *insert sad emoji here*. Our best team members have come from referrals within our team. If you know anyone that would be a great fit for our culture and our team, please send them this link to learn more. Feel free to pass along my information to get them to contact me, too! HERE YOU GO!

VERTICAL BITEWINGS

In reviewing our discussion regarding vertical bitewings, here are a couple tips on how to take them. First is the video from Dentsply showing computer animation on how to place the rin.

And here's one a little more interactive with more detail.

Our protocol is as follows:

  1. If you cannot view the bone level after taking horizontal bitewings, take vertical bitewings.

  2. Once you take vertical bitewings, vertical bitewings will be required for future appointments. This will allow the provider to monitor bone levels more accurately.

  3. Take 7-8 vertical bitewings every time patient is due for bitewings. This includes new patient exams, comp exams, and recall exams.

  4. Take additional anterior PA's at no charge as needed.

SIDEXIS IN THE OPS

Blake has gone through HCD and installed Sidexis in each doctor's operatory as well as graphic cards that will help ensure images can be seen without causing delays. You're welcome to review CBCT's in the operatories as well as the conference room and consult room. Please refrain from using the pano room as it blocks others from using the machine and/or the bathroom. If your op has issues using Sidexis, please let me know right away so we can have Blake resolve it.

INTRAORAL PHOTOS

Please remember to utilize the intraoral camera during treatment, initial exams, and hygiene at both practices. This tool is an amazing way to include our patients in their care. It greatly enhances our patients' dental knowledge and willingness to commit to treatment. Take from our patient that just left us this review.

ree

As a way to encourage use of the tool, we will have a showcase of the best photos taken over the past few weeks. Send me your patient's name and/or a screenshot of the image you took. We'll have a random drawing for $50! You can enter as many times as you'd like! We'll review the photos and draw a winner at our next team meeting.

GOAL DISCUSSION

Lastly, we will discuss our goals at this next team meeting... I promise!! To help prepare, please watch the video below and let's make it an amazing Team Meeting with lots of goals that we're planning for and that we've achieved!

Send your team an emjoi, gif, or meme of the most recent goal you accomplished! Enjoy your weekend! <3
