February Schedule
I truly hope I can get the schedule moved onto QuickBooks Time to make it easier for everyone. For now, here is the schedule for next month. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Appointment Note Layout
To help us stay organized in our Appointment Book Note, we are going to split the note up as follows:
Team Members Needs
Team members that will be out, birthdays, or anniversaries will be placed in the top section.
Patient Needs
Any special notes for admin or clinic to follow-up on will be in the 2nd section.
Cancelations - 48 hour notice
Any cancelations by patients made within the 48-hour window will be placed in the third section.
February Events
We have multiple events planned for this next month to celebrate Children's Dental Health Month. We even have one this Thursday, if you'd like to attend with us! If any of these fit your schedule, please let me know, and I'll make sure you can come. I appreciate everyone's help with this annual event. The students and teachers love having us there, and it's such a blast to spend time with our community in such a fun way!

Scheduling NP Appointments
Moving forward, we are changing how we schedule new patient appointments. This is partly due to software glitches with our communication program, NexHealth. From now on, when we are scheduling 2 appointments on the same day for a patient, we will make the first appointment as usual with all notes, etc. therein. The 2nd appointment will appear as an event marked as a z2-NPEX or z2-NPHYG and the patient's name IN the event with your initials.
This will make it easier logistically at the front desk when they arrive, and hopefully, be easier to see on the schedule for huddles, too. Thanks to Lauren for this great idea! 💕

Simon Sinek "Start with Why"
When we started discussing goals, I had mentioned Simon Sinek and his viral Ted Talk about the Golden Circle, leadership, and how to set goals. This is the full talk. Even though this came out 15 years ago, it is full of principles that have stood the test of time and have been very helpful to myself and others on our team. Grab your popcorn and settle in for a 17 minute enlightenment with Simon.
