Already time to send out a new schedule - for a new year! Hope you all have great or simple things planned for the holidays over these next few weeks. It's a great time to be with loved ones whether family or friend - or maybe even foe? Either way, enjoy your time! Here's a little diddy of young DKM to help get you in the holiday mood...

ADEC Water Info

For those interested in learning more about the type of water that is best for our equipment, this is the letter we received from ADEC.

Condense the Expanse

You may have noticed lots of bottles around our sinks. We have lotion, hand sanitizer, soap, rinse, Peridex, and more around the sink which is at the entry of our operatories. Although it may be tempting to offer your patient several options, please keep in mind how chaotic this makes the operatory appear. Help keep our operatories simple yet pleasing to the eye by reducing the number of bottles in your operatory. Your sink (and your doctor) will thank you.

The One Includes the Whole

Remember when we print off our schedule for the Morning Huddle to print off all the other providers' columns with your column(s). In order for us to function as one, we must remember the doctors are going into almost every operatory during the day. They will need a road map to follow. As a team, we need to serve as directors of that traffic to make sure the "Patient, Team and Self" are able to say at the end of the day, "That was a great day." Let's compare our printed schedules tomorrow to see if we're ready to work as one.

New Patient Thank You Cards

We have multiple gift cards to offer our new patients and their referee when they complete their new patient exam. We have:

The key to this awesome opportunity is the NPEX. The patient must have gone through the NPEX in order to be eligible for a gift card. Sometimes you'll be met by a patient that says, "It's my card and I want it now!" In those scenarios, always refer back to the front desk before making promises. We're not sticklers about cards, but then again... we kind of are. We want to make sure the standard is the same for everyone. We'll be flexible but let's not be flexible as soon as they start questioning our protocol.
