Lots of points to go through today. Take a few deep breaths, shake your hands out, stretch your neck out, and ready your heart and mind to receive.
Planning Meeting with Team Leadership
Today was our first time having one representative from each department join us for our monthly planning meeting. It was great to hear directly from our team on various issues, concerns, and also discuss solutions. Thank you to Debbie, Jillian and Leah for joining us. Some of the things we discussed are included below. We will review some of these issues as a team at our next team meeting.
We will meet again next month with new representatives from our team. The purpose of this meeting is to review the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for your department. This is also known as SWOT. As a team of 6, we will discuss each department and how we can all help the other one out. I'm excited for this change in our planning processes. I'm very grateful for your insight and ownership in making HCD the best it can be.
Sterilization Tape

Shout out to everyone helping with sterilization! It can get pretty crazy when the schedules are full, but I've seen many of us stepping up to help and I'm grateful for that. An update for the tape regarding Guadalupe's cassettes. Some of hers are marked with red and green, but we're unsure how this started. She is simply RED, no green required. "No Talking in the Hallway"

Sometimes we talk louder than we realize when we stand in the clinic hallway. Please help us ensure our patients enjoy a calm, quiet (as much as possible) appointment by moving all side conversations to the conference or pano room. Not everyone wants to hear about your weekend shenanigans... Just kidding. We all do, but let's move the conversation elsewhere.
Health History Protocol

Before you skip this section, let me say how grateful I am for your patience in making it through the health history conundrum of 2021, 2020, and 2019... and possibly 2018... and 2017. I know it's been rough, but we're getting better every day. A few reminders to make this process even better:
Please let Leah know 3-4 days ahead of schedule for those patients that require a full medical history. There is a magical time when patients will fill out the forms and that time is found within that time period. Of course, we have some patients who prefer the in-person form after they arrive 20 minutes late. But the majority have responded positively to the text requests. Please make sure you fill out your provider HH update form 3-4 days in advance.
We have found some HH updates are not being input by our team once the patient has filled it out. Please take the time to review their HH in the Document Center and update the Medical Alert module.
March Schedule

This is a placeholder for right now. There are a few things to work out and then I'll let you know when to visit this page again for the actual schedule. :)
Invisalign
Some members of the team asked for the video Ben shared with us when he discussed Invisalign. Here is the link for you. Invisalign Video by Ben
