Welcome to our newest team member, Mele! She will be on our team for both front and back for the first few months. This first week she will be learning the basics at the front desk. Next week, she will be learning the basics as a sterilization technician. Whenever you have a free moment and would like to help her onboard as a new team member, she has her training checklist, and we'd love your help in checking those items off! Her schedule will be M-TH.
Next week, Stacey will be joining us as a Scheduling Coordinator for T-F. She has experience, but will still go through our training schedule to ensure she knows our protocols and standards. Her focus will be Dr. Waddle's schedule and patients. We also welcome your help with onboarding her to ensure a smooth transition as a new team member.
Adrianna will be joining us on May 15th as a hygienist extern through UAA. Please note the times for prophy only. We will need extra help on Mondays with the hygiene team to ensure she receives what she needs as an extern and that our current hygienists continue to receive support when Crismae is not here. If you're willing and able to work an extra day every now and again, please let me know and we'll set that up in the schedule.
Schedule wise - here is May's schedule. Please review and let me know if you have any questions. Vacation times have already been setup for this month, and we are running pretty tight in order to help Evergreen. Please do your best to be here on your scheduled days, and note that we will not be able to allow any other vacation times this month.
June is also extremely tight vacation wise. Please speak with Kolina ASAP if you need time off in June, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Part of the benefit package at Health Centered Dentistry is the opportunity to participate in the 401(k) plan. If you have passed your one year mark as a full-time employee, you are eligible to sign-up at any time. Follow the directions below to sign up. Once you do so, I'll receive the necessary information to start your retirement contributions. Remember... there's no time like the present to start saving for your future.
Colonial Life Health Screenings
If you participate in Colonial Life, you most likely are eligible for $50 for your wellness checks. Per our last meeting, there are many wellness checks that will allow you to file a claim for $50-150 depending on your policy's benefits. Here is the list of tests and the full form with more information on claiming your benefit.
LawAssure - Freebie
Whether or not you participate in Colonial Life, as an employee of HCD you are eligible to register with LawAssure. There is a limited window to sign up, so I recommend you do so soon.
Reviewing Cornerstone Credit Seminars
For all our team members that were able to go to Cornerstone for recent seminars, we'd love to hear what you learned! We have saved time this upcoming team meeting for you to share your top 1-3 takeaways from either the communication or collections course. Please be prepared to share for 1-3 minutes.
