Welcome to October! Who already has their decorations up for October? Who already has their Christmas decorations up? I'm sure one of you does...

N2O Protocol
Review from our team meeting. When using the N2O, only remove the plastic tab which covers the opening when you're ready to use it. If there is no tab and it's on the N2O cart, this means the tank is in use and has gas in it. If it is not on the cart and the tab is missing, this means the tank is empty. This goes for both practices as we both use Central Welding Supply for our gas supply.

Pinboard
You all have done great in making sure the pinboard is only for appointment unloading and loading. Keep on the good path with keeping that area as "clean" as possible to avoid duplicate appointments and confusion.

Removing Pop-ups for Health History
Per the discussion at the team meeting, the pop-ups are something you can manually select per condition. When the item is setup in the Health History Setup module, you can select if the item is critical and to pop-up.
What this means moving forward... Per discussion with the doctors, we will continue to mark prescription medicine as critical in order to distinguish it from OTC medicine/supplements that the patient has chosen to take. If a "critical" medicine is popping up that is not truly CRITICAL, you can remove the pop-up as shown in the picture below. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Other Duties As Assigned
As we look around the lobby, breakroom and clinic, we can always find little things that need to be cleaned or reorganized. We like to call these "Other Duties As Assigned" which is typically the last line of any job description. Take a moment and write these duties down so we can talk about them together. One of the duties from DKM's list is cleaning trash from cabinets where the trash cans are located throughout the clinic. The janitors don't clean those spots and they tend to hide a multitude of secrets. We will review your duties at our next team meeting... not those kinds of duties...
Let your team and I see the emjoi you've chosen as tribute for the week!
