Hello, Friends! Our headlines this week will correlate with our training on Thursday. Please make sure to read through and prepare your ideas for our meeting.

We are continuing to collect items for our Cancer Care baskets. We have had several patients contribute which is awesome! If you'd like to donate, we will need the items at least by next Tuesday.

We're looking for items that will comfort a patient while they undergo cancer therapy. These items include:

• Soft socks

• Soft blankets

• Teas

• Chapstick

• Lotion

We appreciate any donation you can give to support your fellow man in their time of need.

May 2021 Schedule

Can you believe May is right around the corner? With May we have a few changes coming down the pipeline. This includes my schedule changing to match DKM's schedule and having Jane with us on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. DCH and Toni will be out a few days and Debbie a few more. Please review the schedule and let me know if you have any questions.

Assistant Trainings on Monday

As you know, our doctor meetings are held on Monday morning from 8AM to 9AM. We want to utilize this time to improve our skills as assistants and communicators. This time is specifically meant for our dental assistants to train one another and expand upon skills they already have. We already have a few topics we've heard from our team to start off these meetings. The first official meeting will be this Monday. Even if you're not a DA and you're able to attend, you are welcome to join in.

Team Goals

This week we are going to revisit our team goals that were drafted earlier this year. In order to achieve our goals, we need to make sure we spend time reviewing them continually. We will discuss these in more detail including reviewing our tactics to achieve our goals. But first... a little inspiration...

Dental Assistants:

• Goal: Strengthen dental assistants’ skills

  • Strategy: Comprehensive understanding of office flow

  • Strategy: Monthly trainings with dental assistants

Doctors:

• Goal: Utilize each operatory to full capacity

  • Strategy: Reach production goals

• Goal: Sharpen the saw

Team:
