Hello, HCD and EVG!

Hope you're all enjoying a beautiful day at Health Centered Dentistry! Our team has grown to include some wonderful new team members and we welcome them with open arms! Welcome to Choua and Kayla! We're excited for Megan moving forward with her summer plans and so grateful for the work she did for us these past few months! We're doubly excited to have Diane back with us starting next week!

As a reminder for all of us, please remember to bring your printed schedules showing all columns to our morning huddles. Your efforts and cooperation with this step makes a HUGE difference in our performance as providers, individuals, and as a team.

HCD 5-2022 Schedule

Our schedule for May has LOTS of unusual times for various team members. Please review closely and let me know if you have any questions. Assistants, if your doctor is out, you will most likely be out, too. However, I know some would still like to work. You are welcome to be here, but please speak with myself or Te before coming in so that we can prepare projects for you to complete. There is always something to be done and it's golden time to take care of those things when the doctors are away.

Continuing Education with the Team

As we welcome our new team members aboard, we have the unique opportunity to review our current protocols and how our team members handle those protocols. We have found places with scheduling appointments, chart audits and continuing care wherein we require more in-depth training. To help ensure each team member receives the attention and/or training they need to succeed, I will be working with each of you on a one-on-one basis over the next three weeks. When we meet, it will be for 20-30 minutes. I thank you in advance for making yourself available and your willingness to work with myself and the doctors on our protocols.

Painting the Lobby

For those of us with sensitivity to paint, please be aware the contractors will be painting on May 14-15th. I'm not sure how it will be on Monday, May 16th, but I want to make sure you are aware.

Vacation Requests

ree

As you prepare for time off this summer (and any other time), please remember to complete a vacation request form before you book your tickets. Having these forms filled out will ensure we have coverage as needed. It also greatly helps when putting together our schedule for the upcoming month. These forms are available by Toni in the file drawer.

When you are completing these forms, you will see a place to select the "type" of leave. You can read more about the types of leave in our HR Manual. Almost always, unless you're requesting bereavement, jury, or maternity leave, you will mark personal leave. This is also a necessary notation for your personnel files. Thank you for paying attention to the details.

OSHA Training

We have an OSHA training for our assistants coming up on 5/20/2022 when Dr. Marchant is out of the office. Some of you may not be available to attend as you will be on vacation. This is a training that will be required of you at a future date. For those that can attend this time, I have registered you using your personal email address in order for you to have the login information. You don't have to be in the office to attend and you can stay in your pajamas! I just need to know your clock in and clock out times for this meeting.

Admin team, you are also welcome to attend this OSHA training if you are available. It will be from 7AM-10AM on 5/20/2022.

CE Opportunity with Invisalign

Another free CE opportunity with Invisalign coming up next week. Looks like it'll be a great event!
